A wildly effective journey to a slimmer, healthier, more vibrant you - for life!

Diet pills, do they really work?

We have all been confronted by the thousands of diet pill ads. The daily specials, extreme weight loss success stories and the quick fix solutions often leave us feeling venerable to take these enticing diet pills.

Yet do the diet pills work?

Yes, some of the diet pills (especially those prescribed under a doctor’s supervision) do work, but only by suppressing your appetite, they all have side effects. The side effects can range from headaches to sleep disruption, all the way up to potential liver damage. Many diet pills also contain a high amount of caffeine, making us often feel on edge or feel that our hearts are about to beat out of our chests.!

You will often find that after being off the diet pills for a few weeks, you have put the extra kilo’s back on again! Diet pills all create the reverse effect the moment you stop using them- that is, once you stop your body breathes a huge sigh of relief and begins to quickly accumulate fat just in case you ever try to starve it again.

Yes diet pills can make you less hungry and eat less for a time, but you almost certainly will not be able to stay on them indefinitely without series medical consequences. Diet pills are for short-term use, yet some of us have a long-term problem.

There are far more pleasant and much more effective ways to lose weight and, more importantly, to keep the weight off for life. The real goal is to feel healthy and vibrant, live a long fun, active life and stay slim doing it.

The food factor is a vital part in any weight loss journey and therefore your eating habits must addressed and changed, rather then simply not eating at all.

I encourage you to leave the diet pills for the people who want a quick and short fix and find a healthy diet customized to your body for lifelong, guaranteed weight loss.
